The Wealth Designers: Women’s Edition

Empowering women to take control of their wealth

At The Wealth Designers, we believe every woman deserves to live a life with money and meaning.

In an industry where female representation is still limited, we’re proud that our team is 60% women – a defining feature that shapes the way we listen, the questions we ask, and the strategies we design.

Every day, we see how financial confidence creates independence, opportunity and long-term security.

That’s why we created START WELL®, a financial literacy program designed to educate and empower the next generation, reduce financial stress in workplaces, and support community wellbeing.

Join our Balance the Scales: Time, Structure and Super for Women webinar on Tuesday 31 March 2026 for a practical, supportive conversation designed to help you manage your money – without adding more to your already full plate. Register here, or scroll down to learn more.

International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day (IWD) has been around for over a hundred years, as have many of the issues still impacting women’s advancement. Since 1911, IWD belongs to all who care about gender equality. Celebrate women’s achievement. Raise awareness about discrimination. Take action to forge gender parity. All IWD activity is valid, that’s what makes IWD so inclusive.

In 2026, the theme for IWD is #BalanceTheScales. Balance the Scales is a promise that every woman and girl – regardless of background or identity – should be safe, heard, and free to shape their own lives. Yet in 2026, too many across Australia and the world are still denied that fair go. Discriminatory laws, policies, and practices persist. Gender-based violence remains widespread, and structural barriers block too many from seeking or receiving justice.

These barriers are not inevitable. They are built – and they can be dismantled.

Equality is not about advantage for some; it’s about dignity, safety, and fairness for all.

When women and girls stand equal, families are stronger, workplaces are fairer, communities thrive, and society becomes safer for everyone.

This International Women’s Day let’s Balance the Scales together.

Balance the Scales: Time, Structure and Super for Women

Date: Tuesday, 31 March 2026
Time: 4:30 PM Perth / 7:30 PM EST

The International Women’s Day webinar is a practical, supportive conversation about money, time and structure, designed to help women balance the scales without adding more to their already full plates.

We begin by acknowledging the gender pay gap and superannuation gap, not to alarm or overwhelm, but to explain why these gaps exist and why they persist even for capable, engaged women. From there, the focus quickly shifts from awareness to action.

Rather than asking women to budget harder or become financial experts, this session focuses on a small number of high-impact decisions that work within the life you already have. Through a relaxed, discussion-style format, Dawn Thomas and Michelle Flanagan explore how women can create simple financial structures, protect their independence, and make smarter choices inside and outside of superannuation.

The session covers how to manage money in a way that respects time and mental load, why structure matters more than perfection, the importance of having access to money in your own name, and one of the easiest superannuation checks that can make a meaningful long-term difference.

Grounded, honest and refreshingly practical, Balance the Scales is designed to leave attendees feeling clearer, calmer and more confident about their money.
